Hope Is Contagious.
Spreading it is what I do.
Add a dynamic inspirational speaker to your Black History Month (Feb), Women’s History Month (March) and/or Poetry Month (April) events.
My name is Stanice Anderson and I am a Huffington Post Blogger, Addictions Recovery Expert, Performance Artist and nationally-acclaimed author of several nonfiction books, including; I SAY A PRAYER FOR ME: One Woman’s Life of Faith and Triumph (Warner Books).
Transparency, joy, hope, excitement, healing, humor and life stories are the gifts I bring. All talks, presentations, and workshops are based on my personal and professional experiences. I lace my speaking engagements with humor, poetry, and music to inspire, educate and encourage all in attendance. My goal is to transport audiences to a place where laughter, tears, and hope collide.
I have given thousands of talks and workshops over the years in the US and Caribbean, for nonprofit organizations, federal, state, and local governments, churches, book clubs, schools, universities, prisons, country clubs, conferences and libraries. The list includes: AOL Headquarters, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Maryland University, and Pennsylvania’s Mental Health Department.
Here is what some people are saying:
“Listening to Ms. Anderson speak/sing/read her amazing story of a life redeemed was so moving. I still hear the haunting melody of her narration.” Theresa Allison, Psychiatric Institute of Washington
“Ms. Anderson is a master motivator, encourager, and one of the most engaging speakers I have heard in any forum. We were captivated. She makes powerful parallels and connections to emotional and spiritual battles that all of us experience. We were led to tear off masks, dare to be real and transparent after spending time with Ms. Anderson.” Bernice Mayfield, Reston, VA
